movin on up!

So much has happened since I've last blogged! To get it over with, my mom passed  days after my last blog. Which caused me to lose a lot of focus that I had going with my business. I stopped producing clothing, blogging, buying fabric, and brainstorming anything new.Except the pixie festival skirt with pockets and the few orders bought off Etsy I didn't really promote.
After a few months went by I found myself paying attention to my Facebook page; https://www.facebook.com/CuriousCultureClothing again and sharing old photos that I was super proud of. And The good Life Collective really pulled through and helped me vend my work without me there all summer.I got to show my work at different festivals this year Then slowly I got a little more and a little more inspiration and pulled out of my slump.
Now, I feel great. I'm selling more than ever on my Etsy page and more likes on my Facebook page too! I feel like my style is really coming together now. And I'm pulling in a following.

Hand Crochet Blue Vest

I'm selling this for $80.00. It's a loose fitting vest that took me about 8 hours to crochet. I picked a nice blue color that goes with virtually anything dress up or down. https://www.etsy.com/shop/CuriousCultureCo

My first vending spot!

Wow! This is it! My whole week has been packed with so much to do! I've been getting a lot of orders in though my Etsy page! https://www.etsy.com/shop/CuriousCultureCo so I've had to put other projects to the side to mail out the clothes in time. and now have met up with The Good Life Collective and am joining them on there booth for a few festivals this year.So I've been pricing out all of my clothes and making sure they are all neat and ready to go. The rates work out the same as I paid my last manager but I have the perks of running everything but the selling.I can't wait til the next festival so I can get out there myself and sell all my clothes! I already have a plan of wearing all the clothes I had to keep for myself and hula hooping outside the tent. I could also spin fire too if I wouldn't get in trouble. Then when people walk by they will see what I'm wearing an get a good feel for how these garments are worn.
So, I signed the contract on Monday, I bought business cards on Tuesday and am selling shit by Thursday! Things are really picking up around here fast. And I'm excited to be involed in this new experience and see where it brings me and my clothing.

Red Flower Sexy Spring Dress and Top

I connected this fabric in the front with a little plastic black circle piece.

I love how all of these photos came out so I had to post them all! This is the first dress I ever made And I think it came out great! I'm asking $45.00 for it.It will fit woman size small. The material is a nylon/polyester. https://www.etsy.com/shop/CuriousCultureCo

Rhinestone Dancer

The skirt has tassels on both sides and the the flare only one. The shirt is covered  in rhinestone and has a rhinestone flower to match the shirt.
The rhinestones go all the way around the ties to the back.

I love this costume so much. The black fabric is super comfortable and make the shine and color of the rhinestones pop! The 3 different layers of rhinestone tassels are accessories I love and need to have!!

Tan Chenille Yarn Crochet Vest

This vest took me about 6 hours to make but the yarn was a hand me down so I'm only charging $50.00 dollars for it. The chenille is super soft and lays great on the body.

Back to the Matrix

I love this pattern it totally reminds me of the movie The Matrix!! I tried to make a shirt that you could wear outside a concert or festival for once. lol So any way, The costume fits small size woman the best. The skirt elongates to 16 inches.the leg flares flares about 18 inches wide.
